Brandyn Speckman
Community Education Specialist, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Phoenix
Born and raised in California, Brandyn moved to the Phoenix area in August 2006. She has worked in the community education field for seven years where her focus has been educating children and their parents. She has coordinated programs such as teen diabetes awareness, teen pregnancy prevention and a theatre-based literacy class for elementary students. Community education and awareness has been in the forefront of her work for years. Taking over as Child Passenger Safety Coordinator at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in the past year has opened her eyes to a different prevention field and has quickly become her passion. Brandyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is currently working on her Master's in Health Administration, emphasis on Health Care Education with anticipated graduation in October 2009.
