Program Coordinator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Rochester
Erin joined the Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Rochester in October 2023 as the Program Coordinator; she is also a Child Passenger Safety Technician. ? Erin’s previous work experience has given her a unique perspective to child injury prevention. She has been with the University of Rochester since 2013 where she served as a NYS Peace Officer and Community Resource Officer with the Department of Public Safety. In these roles, she was part of the Crisis Intervention Team, performed security assessments, as well as lead outreach initiatives. Erin also worked as a Senior Psychiatric Technician in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program.
Erin began her career working with a vulnerable population of youth residents at Hillside Family of Agencies. She worked as a Youth Care Professional in a residential treatment facility, and a Youth Advocate in a high school within the Rochester City School District. ? Erin received her Bachelor of Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan University (2009).
