Michael Mello, M.D., M.P.H., IPC Director and Co-Principal Investigator of Injury Free Coalition for Kids (IFCK) of Providence, is a practicing physician with the University Emergency Medicine Foundation and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown Medical School. He has conducted and published research on the role of injury prevention in emergency medicine and alcohol and injury. Dr. Mello has 16 years experience teaching medical students and residents, and has lectured to both groups on injury prevention issues.
