Stephen W. Nicholas, MD

Medical Director, Harlem Hospital Injury Prevention Program

Dr. Stephen W. Nicholas is the Director of Pediatrics at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City and also the Director all Injury Prevention Programs at Harlem Hospital Center. Dr. Nicholas is a general academic pediatrician whose research has primarily involved health services research and the epidemiology and prevention of maternal-newborn HIV infection. He received a B.S. degree from University of Wyoming, an M.D. Degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine, and he completed a Pediatrics Internship, Residency and Chief Residency at Babies Hospital and Harlem Hospital Center (Columbia University) in New York. In addition to that, he was a Robert Wood Johnson Fellow in General Academic Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
