Literacy Coordinator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of
Violeta Garduno has worked as a para-educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District and a family advocate and interim coordinator for the Robert F. Kennedy Institute in Wilmington, CA. Her education includes an A.A.in Early Childhood Education; she is currently enrolled at California State Dominguez Hills and is working to complete a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. Her hobbies include reading, writing,and learning about issues that affect our children. She enjoys working with children and assisting families in finding answers to the many issues they face when it comes to their children's academic sucess. She has five children of which she is very proud. She believes that any dream that we pursue is possible with perseverance and determination. She truly believes that any child can learn no matter what barrier they may face, if we as professionals can give each child the gift of love and understanding.
