Eastern Carolina Injury Prevention Program
This project, funded by the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program, involved ECIPP coordination of a program to replace child safety seats that were lost or damaged during the 1999 hurricane and floods in eastern North Carolina. From October 1999 through January 2000, more than 1,200 properly installed child safety seats were distributed to families in 26 counties.
