Eastern Carolina Injury Prevention Program
In order to understand playgrounds and the problems that go along with them better, we went around to the playgrounds in our community with a certified playground inspector, and performed a playground inventory. We have detailed pictures of most of the playgrounds in our community, as well as a list of their problems. Here are a few problem areas we saw in some playgrounds:
Our current project for playground rennovation consists of building a new community playground for the town of Grimesland. Here are some pictures of the playground as it is now.
