The Injury Free Coalition for Kids of New Haven, a collaborative partnership between Yale-New Haven Hospital Trauma Department, Yale School of Medicine, and Yale School of Nursing, provides safety and injury prevention information and activities to the community in the following areas: pedestrian safety, bike helmet use, booster and car seats, fall prevention, teen driving safety, and concussion training for sports coaches. In the past two years, approximately 350 car seats have been donated to community families.

Our goal is to prevent and reduce childhood injury by serving, empowering, and educating the residents of New Haven on child safety.
