Pablo Aguayo, MD, FACS, FAAP

Pablo Aguayo, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Missouri Kansas City, Director of the Burn and Wound program, Director of the Critical Care Fellowship and Associate Director of Trauma/Critical Care at Children’s Mercy Kanas City. He is also on the surgery faculty of the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He has been in practice as a general and thoracic pediatric surgeon for 10 years. Dr. Aguayo has over 80 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals as well as 8 book chapters. He is also one of the founding members of the Pediatric Injury Quality Improvement Collaborative; a research consortium of five pediatric burn and trauma centers from the Midwest and East Coast.
