Injury Free - Seattle is displaying our collection of photographs from the "Shot Through Our Eyes" teen photography project at the Central Library during July - September 2005. The photos will be displayed in the library's 8th Floor Gallery.

The "Shot Through Our Eyes" photography project was created during October 2003-March 2004 in collaboration with Youth in Focus, a local organization that provides photography training and mentorship. The youth used photography as a way to communicate their safety concerns to the community. This set of teenage photographers then acted as mentors for younger teens at Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club, where Injury Free - Seattle organized a photography project in July - August 2004.

In late August 2005, Injury Free - Seattle is working with Youth in Focus, Feet First pedestrian group, and Yesler Terrace Community Center to develop a photographic walking audit of the Yesler neighborhood, in which Harborview Medical Center is located.
