Program/Event Details:
To celebrate NIPD, OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois will host a community car seat check in Pekin, Illinois in partnership with the Tazewell County Health Department. The event will have booths/tables that cover other injury prevention topics, such as poison prevention, bike and pedestrian safety, and distracted driving. Car seats and booster seats will be available, free of charge, for families who need to upgrade or replace a car seat. Families will also receive a bag of informational materials and a few small gift items that help promote injury prevention throughout the year.
