Traveling childproofing education for staff! We loaded up a card with home safety kits, faucet covers, and outlet covers and went to out SICU, step down, PICU and ED talking to staff about making their homes a safer place for children. Staff members received printed materials outlining, room by room, was to childproof their homes. Staff members who answered a few quiz questions were rewarded with their choice of a home safety kit, faucet cover, or outlet covers.
