Program/Event Details:
NIPD 2022 at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU included a green light up bracelet giveaway to patients in our primary care clinics and pediatric emergency room. They also received information about NIPD and age-specific safety tips (Babies 0-12mo, Little Kids 1-4yrs, Big Kids 5-9yrs, Preteens 10-14yrs, and Teens 15-19yrs). Staff received a green light up bracelet, a button to wear recognizing the day, and a cookie tray as a thank you for participation. We also have a blog post and social media on our main hospital pages for education to the larger community.
