National Injury Prevention Day 2024

Program/Event Details:
On November 18th, 2024 Harris Health will host a National injury Prevention Day education fair at the main entrance to Ben Taub hospital. We will be partnering with Harris County Sherrif's Office to provide education to our patients and the community. We will be providing education on drunk/distracted driving, falls in the older adult population, firearm safety. We will also have a drunk driving simulator and a gun lock distribution.
