In our center's monthly blog, the November blog post will highlight research and prevention activities of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital during NIPD about safer storage of guns. The blog is title: National Injury Prevention Day: Safer gun storage to prevent child injuries & death. It discusses the risks in rural communities; how to stay safe at home and while visiting friends/relatives; and how to prevent youth suicide. We will promote the post on social media on November 18.
