For National Injury Prevention Day, Pro Consumer Safety is highlighting and increasing social media awareness of the National Virtual Childproofing Home Safety Consultation service. The call line provides parents as a resource, and the ability to have a public health injury prevention specialist and Master Certified Health Education Specialist consult with the parent in their home virtually to assess and assist the parent with approaches to prevent home-related child injury and fatality.
It is also a benefit to reduce the spread of infectious disease, while providing injury prevention in the home.
