Program/Event Details:
Rush University Children's Hospital is pleased to hold our 2nd annual Baby Safety Shower in the Community in collaboration with our Community Partnership Approaches to Safe Sleep (CPASS Chicago) team and Rush’s College of Nursing.
30 pregnant/parenting families each will be provided with an infant carseat, cribette, sleep sack, safe sleep board book, and Kids in Danger (KID) Child Product Safety Guide. Infant safety conversations will be led by our Community Educator in partnership with College of Nursing GEM students. The funds will specifically be used for the purchase of the carseats, cribettes, sleep sacks and board books as follows: 30 infant carseats ($3,600) 30 cribettes ($2,400) 30 Halo sleep sacks ($600) 30 This Side Up Onesies ($240) 30 Sleep Baby Safe and Snug board books ($150) 30 Child Product Safety guides (free from Kids in Danger)
