Community Programs Educator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Pittsburgh (Children's)
Jordan James is a Community Programs Educator in the injury prevention department of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Jordan has Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University and master’s degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. While studying for her master’s degree she also obtained a certificate in Evaluation of Public Health Promotion and Health Education Programs and in 2019 became a Certified Health Education Specialist. Since her undergrad days, Jordan has worked with underserved communities in and around Michigan and Pennsylvania and since graduating has provided health education to a variety of different age groups. Jordan works with families and community members to provide education to prevent childhood injuries from occurring.
