Marilyn J. Bull, MD, FAAP

Morris Green Professor Emeritus, Department of Pediatrics, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Indianapolis

Dr. Marilyn J. Bull is the Morris Green Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine and former Director of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children. Board certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, she has devoted her career to advancing the health, development, and safety of children.

As Co-Medical Director of Indiana University’s Automotive Safety for Children Program, Dr. Bull’s research interests focuses on the safe transportation for children with special health care needs and ambulance transportation safety.

As a nationally recognized leader in pediatric injury prevention, she has served as:

- Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Injury, Violence and Poison Prevention - President of the Indiana Chapter of the AAP - Member of the AAP Board of Directors

Dr. Bull has also represented the AAP on the National Child Passenger Safety Board and served as President of the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine. Dr. Bull has mentored professionals through the Training for Child Injury Prevention (T4CIP) program.

Her contributions have significantly influenced child passenger safety and injury prevention practices nationwide.
