Project Coordinator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Providence
Michael Chappell, CPSTI joined Rhode Island Hospital in 2022. He is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor and is the official state contact for all Rhode Island CPS activities. He serves as Pediatric Injury Prevention Coordinator for Hasbro Children's Hospital as well as coordinates all community programming at the Injury Prevention Center including Safe Kids Rhode Island, the 4-Safety Program, and the Seats 4 Safety Program, which focus on car seat safety, bicycle safety, pedestrian safety, as well as a variety of other injury prevention topics.
