Buckle Your Seat Belts, Minnesota Everybody, Every Seat, Every Time!

The Minnesota Seat Belt Coalition works to reduce deaths and injuries on our roadways by increasing seat belt use through education and legislation. The Coalition is coordinated by the Minnesota Safety Council in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety.

The Coalition wants people to make the decision to buckle up every time they're in a vehicle. Coalition members also agree that upgrading Minnesota's seat belt law to Universal Standard Enforcement is the least expensive and quickest way to achieve significant increases in seat belt use.

The Coalition is individuals and organizations from across the state - businesses, health care providers, emergency responders, law enforcement officers, community organizations, parents, insurance representatives, auto dealers, crash survivors and others. You can join the Coalition and help us achieve our goal. Just click on the link below and complete the Call to Action. When you join the Minnesota Seat Belt Coalition, you'll be helping to make Minnesota a safer place to live.
