Child Safety Educator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Miami
Carolina Olazabal is a Safety Educator with the Injury free Coalition for Kids of Miami at Jackson Health System since 2020. In this role, she educates families on ways to stay safe at home and in the community. Her passion for helping families take care of their most valuable possession, their children, has been the driving force throughout her career. Previously, Mrs. Olazabal worked for a non-profit organization for over 10 years. Her focus population was high-risk pregnancies and high-risk babies. Mrs. Olazabal has also acquired multiple certifications in childhood injury and death prevention. She is a Childbirth Educator, a Lactation Counselor, Infant Massage Educator, Smoking Cessation and Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment Counselor and a Child Passenger Safety Instructor since 2011. Carolina graduated in 2006 from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education.
