Marie Pagnotta, MPH

Community Programs Educator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Pittsburgh (Children's)

Marie is a Community Programs Educator with the Injury Prevention Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. In this role, she educates families on ways to stay safe, including at home and on the road. She is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and the coordinator for Safe Kids Allegheny County. Previously, she served at the Allegheny County Health Department for five years. As the Public Health Administrator II in the Chronic Disease Prevention program, she oversaw the Safe and Healthy Communities initiative and the Live Well Allegheny campaign. Both initiatives promoted ways for people across the lifespan to live safely and increase healthy lifestyle. Marie graduated in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, with her Master’s degree in Public Health and Certificate in Program Evaluation. She graduated from Marquette University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Health Studies.
