Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Providence

In 2008, the Injury Prevention Center at Rhode Island Hospital was designated as the host agency of Rhode Island Safe Kids. Rhode Island Safe Kids is the state’s chapter of Safe Kids Worldwide which is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury.

Rhode Island Safe Kids provides car seat checkup events throughout the state and offers the Child Passenger Safety Technician certification course.
