Safety Camps

Communities throughout the Twin Cities host 2-3 day events which provide children in 3rd and 4th grade with a variety of safety information. The day camp format is most often coordinated by the city's Police/Fire/Park and Rec departments. They invite local experts to conduct a variety of interactive safety sessions. IFCK of Mpls presents during eight camps each summer. Topics by IFCK include Bike Safety, Booster Seats, Burn and poison prevention, and home safety.
